I was born in Nairobi, Kenya in a small place called Kawangware. I had my primary education then went to a vocation training Institute. I later worked as a freelance electrician in the electrical field and did lots of volunteer work in children’s homes e.g. former homeless children international where l met my boss Megan White. Being inZanaA has been a step forward to my growth and has created a space for meeting new people, learning new things and exposure to wonderful opportunities. This includes business loans, travelling to new places e.g. Kajiado and more to come. While in zanaA l have taken part in structure and system creation and it has been even more exciting. I am glad to take part in zanaA’s vision of keeping a girl child in school while empowering the youth to be agents of their own change.
