- Why Zanaa: I joined ZanAafrica last year because I had a passion for young people. We have been able to provide girls with sanitary pads and panties to keep them in school. I am able to work with young girls, and empower them to change their own lives through education. Through this process these girls are becoming proud young women.

Bio:
I was born in Naivasha but I grew up at Limuru. For primary school I went to umoja, and for highschool I went to hilltop Limuru. I attend college at Ricatti Business College where I studied community health \community development and am aspiring to do sociology. I have also been volunteering at Kenya Red Cross where they help with first aid and crisis management. In Kibera I realized that girls do not have sanitary pads and I eventually met Megan who was donating a one year supply of sanitary pads for six schools. Megan shared my vision about girls and I was interested in what she was doing so I joined ZanaA. I am excited to be with the organization, empowering girls to be agents of their own change.
