Are women given equal opportunities as men

Have you ever wondered why most women go to school but end up having nothing to be proud of after many years of schooling. Do you also wonder why many young women want to be married just after high school or college. then  come with me and lets discover some of the reasons why.

I was taught once , that everything rises and fall under leadership. the reason am saying this is because recently, there were nominations that were taking place in our country Kenya to fill in key public post, the office of the Chief justice, the Attorney General, Director of Public Prosecutor and Director controller of Budget. In this positions , The President only nominated which clearly shows you that women are not considered when thinking of key government positions in Kenya. Is that there no ladies who take up this vacancies?

Are women getting equal opportunities?”why should they, this is a man’s worlds” many would say.But do you know why they say that, because our leaders are not leading by example. If the president did even think of  giving at least one post to the women, How then do we expect small businesses and other non governmental organisations to give equal opportunities.

The same that happens in our family units, whenever a good job comes around the boy child will be considered first by the parents, and when we need some one to do house hold chores we, we then consider the child. do you know what this implies? that women our women do not deserve the same chances as the boys. This are partly some of the reasons why our young ladies after they are through with schooling , they would go looking for a job and if they don’t get one, they opt to be married so that some one can be able to take of them, since they have no job and their need keep increase. On the other hand if they get a job, the boss who most probably be a man  want sexual favors so that she can keep her job.

Do you still think ladies have equal opportunities in our society?
